Player performances are based on ratings from SofaScore.
Each Gameweek:
- Player ratings are taken from SofaScore.
- Scores are applied to your selected four players.
- Your team's total score determines your weekly performance.

👑 Captain Rules
Every manager must select one captain from their four players.
The captain receives the captain bonus based on their weekly performance.
Choose wisely:
- ⭐ A captain masterstroke can win a Gameweek.
- 🤡 A captain disaster can become a Top Four News headline.
🔄 Transfers
Managers are allowed:
- ✅ One transfer per month
- ✅ One captain change per month
Changes are limited to keep the competition fair and ensure every decision matters.
No weekly squad rebuilding. No panic buying after one good performance.
🚪 Transfer Window
The transfer window opens during the first week of each month.
During the open window:
- Managers submit their transfer request.
- Managers can request one player change.
- Managers can request one captain change.
- The Commissioner reviews and approves requests.
- Approved changes are applied.
Outside the transfer window:
🔒 Transfers are closed.
📝 Transfer Requests
All transfers must be submitted through the official Transfer Request Form.
Each request must include:
- Manager/team name
- Player leaving
- Player joining
- Captain change (if required)
- Optional manager statement
The Top Four News team reserves the right to report any dramatic decisions.

Each Gameweek creates a new chapter in the season.
After scores are calculated:
- League standings are updated.
- Top performers are identified.
- Captain performances are reviewed.
